SCHEDULE INSPECTION
We will reach out within 1-2 days to schedule a Storm Damage Inspection of the Property. In the event of a Tree Limb Impact, Multiple Missing Shingles and/or Exposed Decking - CALL/TEXT us immediately to begin the Storm Damage Mitigation Process. Time is Money - the longer your roof is compromised, the longer it will take to restore & the more expensive it becomes. Let’s nip it in the bud before it grows into a bigger problem than we bargained for.
STORM DAMAGE INSPECTION
One of our Roofing Gurus will conduct a thorough Storm Damage Inspection on your property to determine if filing a claim is the best choice based on our experience. They will assess the general condition of your roofing system & check for storm created damages that match the weather event in question. If we notice anything strange or concerning along the way - we always take pictures. Leave the climbing to us!
Upon completion, your Redemption Roofing expert will report back with our Findings, Recommendations & Next Steps complete with a Photo Report of the Storm Damage Inspection. If we don’t think a claim is worth filing - we’ll tell you straight up not to waste your energy or emotions going through the claims process. If we feel it’s a 50/50 shot - we put the ball in your court & give you the information necessary to make a fair judgement call. If we are confident your insurance carrier will cover the loss - we’ll show you how to get started with a claim & be there every step of the way until we’re back to square one. We strive to give you the best information to confidently make an educated decision how to properly Restore Your Home to Pre-Loss Condition. If more than one course of resolve is available (example: repair vs insurance claim) - work with your Project Manager to determine the course of resolve that best fits your home & financial needs. Your continued transparency along the way helps us serve you better.
FILE A CLAIM
When Filing a Claim with Your Insurance Carrier - they need 3 components to initiate the claims process. We’ll help you get there.
1 - Date of Loss (When did the damages occur? What date was the weather event? - We use historical weather maps to determine the more relevant Date of Loss for your claim based on the damages discovered)
2 - Peril (Wind/Hail/Hurricane/Tornado/Fire/Flood)
3 - Impact to Property (Damage to Roof, Siding, Gutters, etc)
Once the claim is filed with your Carrier - You are assigned a CLAIM NUMBER & a DECK ADJUSTER that stay with us for the duration of the claims process. Keep this information handy! We’ll need it easily accessible when we get further down the line.
INVESTIGATION
Within a few days of Filing the Claim - an Inspector or Field Adjuster will reach out to Schedule a Property Inspection. Keep your eyes peeled for a call/text/email from an out of state number! Once the Field Investigation is scheduled - Reach out to your Redemption Roofing Project Manager to let them know the Date/Time/Inspector for the inspection. We want to be there to ensure the damages are documented accordingly & advocate on your behalf with the Field Inspector to put your claim in a position to win.
With insurance carriers getting increasingly more stringent with their Claim Approval Guidelines at the Coast - there are times the claim investigation requires multiple inspections pending the nature & complexity of the damages present. Whatever pops up along the way - We’ve got the experience to get you through it.
SETTLEMENT NEGOTIATION
After the Field Adjustment - the Field Inspector/Adjuster will prepare a Detailed Report & Recommendation to the Desk Adjuster based on your policy coverages, the damages discovered at the Field Inspection & the work necessary to get back to Pre-Loss Condition. Ultimately, the Desk Adjuster makes the final decisions. The carrier’s goal is to pay out as little as possible with the least amount of Client Relations Friction on their first Claim Settlement Attempt. Redemption’s goal is to use Industry Best Practices, Local Building Codes & our Manufacturer’s Installation Guidelines to justify the extension of every penny you’re rightfully owed to bring your home back to center. We fight the battle for you!
The Settlement Negotiation process typically lasts a few weeks. Your Redemption Roofing Project Manager will be in consistent contact with you during this time to answer questions, provide clarity or determine the best course of action pending the circumstances. Eventually, you will receive a Scope of Work & a Settlement Letter from your carrier listing the details of their Repair/Replacement Estimate with a Payment Schedule reflecting how claim money moves for your project.
PROJECT DISCUSSION
Once we’ve got your Scope of Work & Settlement Letter from the carrier - our Estimating Team will build a Detailed Proposal to best reflect your project needs in conjunction with the insurance repair recommendations. Our proposals come standard with a Breakdown of Contractor Responsibilities, Description of Work Being Performed, Crew Duties, Materials Needed, Estimated Project Timelines, Project Payment Schedule, Homeowner Checklist, Potential Additional Expenses Incurred, Warranties Given and a To-The-Penny Figure to get started. We want to Leave No Doubt that you know exactly what this project entails. No Surprises.
STAGING
Project materials are delivered 1-3 days before Production Kicks off - this gives our Roofing Pros a chance to confirm project materials & make any last minute adjustments as needed. Some call it an attempt to "control chaos” - We just call it being Prepared.
PRODUCTION
The day we’ve all been waiting for! The Crew, Dump Trailer on Wheels & Quality Control Specialist will arrive bright & early to start the day. They begin with staging their equipment & setting up Roof-to-Ground tarps at the Eaves to mitigate risk & allow for easier clean-up. Then it’s off to the races with tearing off your existing roof, ensuring a solid foundation for the new one & assembling your new system one component at a time until completion. Our Quality Control Specialist is be on site for the majority of the project - they are essential to ensuring the project is executed as promised, provide thorough photo documentation of the install process & assist the crew as needed. We want to be easily accessible if you have any questions, comments or concerns in the middle of the project. As always, we finish with sweeping the yard with magnets, cleaning debris out landscaping & blowing off patios, driveways, sidewalks and take the dump trailer with us at the conclusion of the day.
CLOSEOUT
When the project is completed - we will prepare a Certificate of Completion with Before/After Photos and a Final Invoice to close the claim with your Insurance Carrier & initiate the release of your Recoverable Depreciation Payment (if applicable).
